As part of NEDO's International Demonstration Project, Panasonic Holdings Corporation and NEDO will engage in joint research with the University of California, Davis (UC Davis). Members from both Panasonic Holdings Corporation and NEDO visited UC Davis, where the research on Virtual Home Energy Management Systems (EMS) is being conducted.
The demonstration project features EMS's advanced residential energy equipment controls guided by forecasts of electricity demand. The technology is expected to help address issues associated with the implementation of all-electric power systems.
